Well Bugged

Everyone loves the Bug. Homely, hardy, almost unstoppable, it turned the world on its ear. And while it’s true Doctor Ferdinand Porsche’s “Peoples Car” had its origins in a less than cheerful place and time, the car we’d come to call the Beetle would ultimately win hearts, change minds - and sell like nothing the world had seen since the Model T.

C’mon, Get Happy

“Cute” isn’t a word we normally use around here, but when a box full of German maker BUB’s smallest models showed up, it was an involuntary reaction. These things are - lord help us - adorable, and the small size seemingly hasn’t kept this maker from casting a ton of detail into the models’ exteriors or finishing them off with lush paint and tamped-on graphics.
